Through commissioned contests and projects, people seeking photos are able to seek exactly what they want at any price they are willing to pay (or even free!). Aspiring photographers are able to bid on these contests and projects, build their online portfolio and profile, and receive ratings and reviews - towards their journey to photography professionalism. Through this efficient market system, both photographers and those seeking photos are able to find the most appropriate value for their photography needs.

Project: TeachMeSocial is an online platform that allows teachers to simply and effectively deploy social media (such as blogs, chat, and wikis) into the classrom. While social media is used readily in both the university and career environments, it is sorely underutilized in K-12 education, leading to students being unprepared to effectively use these tools when they graduate.

With TeachMeSocial, teachers will not only be able to give their students tools such as blogs to explore their assignments in a new way, they will also have a safe and administered online environment to teach them in. Through advanced control features such as an online grading tools and easy classroom dashboard controls, TeachMeSocial makes the use of these tools easy and convenient for any teacher to use in his/her class. TeachMeSocial views social media as tools for communication, like evolved paper and pen, that can effectively help students collaborate, express ideas for audiences, and engage with one another.

Project: CoffeeMap is a web and mobile based application that is geared toward helping the nomadic worker in search of the perfect coffee shop squat. Different from both Google Maps and Yelp, CoffeeMap focuses on helping anyone looking for a good coffee shop find the nearest one through distinct search parameters that matter such as coffee quality, table space, electrical outlets, free wifi, organic or fairtrade, etc. Utilizing GPS & location based technology, CoffeeMap seeks to save the day for both the road warrior and coffee connoisseur when in need of an instant coffee spot fix.
